Martinez School Cuts
How do you cut $2.6 million from a $30 million dollar budget when the majority of expenses comes from staff? How do you stick to your budget cuts when the numbers keep changing? Only last month, the number to cut was $2.3 million. Tough decisions coming up for the school board & most likely harsh consequences for our kids.
Superintendent Rami Muth, and Chief Business Official Liz Robbins attended our February John Muir PTA meeting. Here's the link to the district's website where you can find a copy of the presentation, links to email our state officials, questions and answers from the Superintendent and other information on the current state of the fiscal impact to our district from state wide budget cuts to education.
